About our Puppies

Our puppies are a hybrid breed, cross of a pure bred AKC registered tri-colored 13" Beagle mom and an APR registered black Pug father. We only breed 1st generation puggles. They have lots of contact with us and our kids. They are born and raised in our house and both parents are on site.

Puggles are a family-friendly, loyal, sweet-tempered, intelligent as well as affectionate breed.
Puggles get along with children well and also other pets. Puggles are fairly easy to train. The best way we have found to train puggles is with rewards and being consistant.

Our puggle puppies will get to be around 13 inches tall at the shoulders and between 20 and 25 pounds when full grown. We have not had any health problems associated with any of our dogs or puppies. Before they are adopted they will have their first set of shots. They all come with a pet health record booklet from the Vet. Our puppies also come with a one year health guarantee.

About Us:
We are a small, family breeder. We have been breeding puggles for about three years now, and have enjoyed each and every pup tremendously. We have only two females and only breed 1st generation puggles. All our puppies are raised in our home with us, our 4 children, and our 4 family pets. We love our dogs and treat them like members of our family. We live near Austin, MN (1 1/2 hours south of the twin cities) between woods and farm land, so our pets have room to play.

We started out breeding Beagles and after the years found out how hard it was to find proper and appropraite homes for the Beagles, having 3 Beagles ourselves we know first hand how challenging Beagles can be. We have spent many sleepless nights waiting for our beagles to come back home and worrying that something had happened to them. Anyone who knows Beagles, know they love to run...what we found when trying to find them homes was that most people do not research a breed before adopting one. Everyone loved how cute our puppies were, but no one really knew what challenges lied ahead. We wanted very much to keep breeding dogs but could not justify not being able to find appropriate homes. After doing more research ourselves, we came across this wonderful, fairly new breed, and like most others we were skeptical. But after being around these little guys I can truly say I understand what all the fuss is about. As breeders, my husband and I are very confident in the characteristics of the Puggle breed, and can sleep easily at night knowing that our puggle pups will fit in well with almost any family and home.
